Questions to think about before beginning this lesson

1. Identify the correct order of organisms organization going from simplest to most complex: organ systems, organism, cells, organ, tissues.

2. What is the smallest level of organization that can exhibit life?

Lesson

This lesson reinforces as well as helps students organize their knowledge of vocabulary terms learned so far on organism organization.

Part I. Download the worksheet called "Organization of Organisms." Students will not only define key terms but they will need to draw as well as provide examples and non examples of each term. Once completed, students will use this knowledge to fill in blanks on a reading selection.

Part II. Complete an assignment on mastery connect called "Organizing organisms."
