Part II. Download and complete the assignment called PKU pedigree. Read each of the statements and create your own pedigree showing all the symbols, names, generation numbers, individual numbers, and genotypes.

PKU is a rare genetic disorder in which a baby is born with the inability to breakdown phenylalanine. Phenylalanine plays a major role in the body's production of malanine (responsible for skin and hair coloring). Treatment for this condition includes a diet absent of phenylalanine including eggs, milk, NutraSweet, and other common foods.

Part III. Once you are finished logon to mastery connct and complete the assignment called "PKU Pedigree."
