Lesson

This lesson is called the "Plant Classification." You will use the scientific classification system to classify organisms. Your job is to create your own classification key using plants. Obtain some plants from your teacher. Once you have finished creating your classification key, exchange you key and flowers with another group and see if you can classify their plants using their classification key.

Download and use the worksheet called Plant Classification and Pictures of Plant Parts to assist you in your efforts.

You will login to mastery connect and take an assessment called classifying plants.
